Kakungulu and Ndawula families in Mbale City to receive UGX 79 billion for land compensation
Mbale City residents to become bonifide occupants as government is yet to issue free land titles
Documentation of detailed data for occupants is underway to enable the process.
Wanyoto told her electorates in an engagement earlier today that the late Khamadi initiated this process that has yielded good fruits for Mbale City
This was during day III of NRM party campaigns ahead of July 17th elections, meeting different wards of Mugezi, Mukunja Central, doko, namabasa, and Nakaloke in Mbale Northern City Division, Wanyoto however, applead to people of Mbale City to reconsider her Member of Parliament bid by re-entrusting her with the NRM flag
She further said her focus is on family through women empowerment, boasting the savings saccos to improve lives and foster development
‘I see your small box savings initiatives as my aim is to grow it bigger,’ Wanyoto said.
Wanyoto made her first appearance in 2015 in the then greater Mbale as Mbale District woman representative, 2021 for Mbale City, thus appealing to her people for the mandate to the 12th Parliament saying she has been on waiting list for a long time
She also called on her fellow candidates in the race to consider stepping aside in favour of her candidacy and trust her for this term to represent people of Mbale City in the 12th Parliament
NRM party primaries were rescheduled for July 17th, where polling shall be voters standing against potraits of their favourite candidates in search of a party flag bearer ahead of 2026 Elections
