All is set for the Democratic Front’s maiden National Delegates’ Conference at Laston Gardens in Masaka!

This delegates’ conference is expected to host around 1000 delegates from different districts of the country.

Dr. Abed Bwanika, the Member of Parliament for Kimaanya Kabonera, says that the party has brought together influential politicians, including Gen. Mugisha Muntu, Hon. Mohammed Nsereko, and others, to engage with the Democratic Front party delegates on significant issues affecting the country.

Dr. Bwanika also added that the conference will serve as a platform to elect the interim leadership of the party.

Dr. Bwanika clarified the guidelines the party used to select the delegates attending this conference saying that it was based on effective representation, gender and generational presence in the different districts where candidates are drawn from!

Delegates from various districts of including Kiboga, Kasese, Kyankwanzi, Nakaseke, Luwero, Mbarara, Kyenjojo, Soroti, Katakwi, and others, have already arrived in Masaka City to attend this conference, which begins today at 10 AM.

Joseph Kasirye, the Democratic Front representative in Masaka, noted that this conference will tackle five key issues that will be foundational for future decisions.
